Air Pollution Control Equipment

Dust Collectors

Dust-generation is an inseparable part of processes such as cutting, grinding or manufacturing. Industries such as Cement, Steel, Chemical, Paint, Forging, foundry, food processing, as well as sectors such as automotive, FMCG or jewellery witness generation of dust as well as particulate matter. This dust directly attacks the respiratory system of the employees. Dust collector systems prevent these ill effects by efficiently filtering the dust from your environment.

Operating Principle

Dust-laden air enters the Bag Filter, either through suction or pressure. As the air navigates through filter bags, dust remains on the bag surface, and clean air moves to the plenum and then out, driven by the centrifugal ID fan's suction. As dust accumulates on the bag's outer surface, the pressure difference between dirty and clean air sections of the filter increases. A sequential timer then actuates a series of pulse valves at intervals, opening them and allowing a momentary high-pressure air flow. This process induces a secondary airflow, creating a pressure surge and reverse airflow through the bags, shedding the dust.

Fume Extractor

A fume extractor sucks the fumes at source using a suction mechanism at the end suction hood. Fumes and dust is pulled into the extractor by a fan using negative draft. The hazardous particles are then pushed into a filtration system inside the fumes extractor. The filtration system is capable of separating fumes and dust. Spark arresters help the fume extractor absorb any of the sparks generated during the process. The dust is collected in the bottom hopper.

The need for a fume extraction system :-

Fumes take a toll on workers’ health slowly and quietly. In the long run, they also damage other production machinery on the floor.

The ill effects of welding fumes include :-

  • Fumes adversely impact the production and long-term exposure leads to serious health hazards.
  • Inside the chamber, a spiral vortex (similar to a tornado) is created.
  • Increased maintenance costs due to damage to equipment and systems from fumes.
  • Fumes are a known cause of negatively affecting product finish and quality.

Welding Fume Extractors

Perfect for industrial usage, the portable dust collectors and welding fume extractors are manufactured with heavy-duty casters and self-supportive arms with hoods. These are engineered to extract the fumes, smoke & dust derived from various machining processes & welding applications.

Laser Marking Fume Extractor

Laser Marketing Fume Extractor is manufactured to capture various hazardous fumes that come out while using different laser machines in coding, engraving, marking, cutting & welding. These superior-quality products are highly portable, cost-efficient, and easy to integrate with other material handling tools. As these contain pre-filters, fine Filters, and Carbon filters, these remove harmful fumes from the workplace in no time.

Cyclone Separator

A cyclone separator, also known as a cyclone, is an air pollution control device that uses the principle of inertia to remove particulate matter from flue gases.

The principle of Operation of Cyclone Separator is as below :-

  • Dirty flue gas enters the cyclone separator.
  • Inside the chamber, a spiral vortex (similar to a tornado) is created.
  • Lighter gas components (with less inertia) are influenced by the vortex and move upward.
  • Larger particulate matter (with more inertia) is less affected by the vortex.
  • The larger particles hit the inside walls of the container and drop into a collection hopper.
  • Cleaned flue gas escapes from the top of the chamber.
